The Prostitution (Public Places) (Scotland) Act 2007

Commenced on the 15th October 2007

Strathclyde Police will begin a campaign to inform the public of the Act and it’s enforcement from January 2008. The Act can levy a maximum fine of £1,000, and where individuals have been “kerb-crawling”, their car can be impounded and potentially – subject to confirmation – their driving license revoked.
